Haven't found any visual changes...but if batter life is better I'll be a happy guy.

EDIT: Did the Time/Date always dim out when sliding up to unlock? I can't recall. Not that it's earth shattering anyway, just verifying.

I would have thought this would be a firmware fix not an OS issue? Would be nice though but I would not expect this to be fixed until Cyan.
