Question About Cloud Collection and Playlists

My cloud collection has a lot of Christmas Music that I have to skip if I shuffle my entire collection of songs. If I delete the Christmas Music from my collection, will my cloud playlists still play them from XBOX Music or does the music HAVE to be in the collection for a playlist to work?
