Question about Preview for Developers app to unlock phones

Hi WPCentral community! I previously used the Preview for Developers app to unlock my 928 so I could receive the GDR3 update early. I may have the opportunity to upgrade to the new Icon soon. Would I be able to download this same app on my new phone and unlock that device? I recall reading that this preview program could only unlock one device but I'm not sure if that means one registered device at a time or just one device in general.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if I want to get the Icon just to wait months for the 8.1 update.

No,you can have that app on multiple phones....as i have the same account running on my wp and my mom's wp...............
