Question: Does the mail app finally see incoming mail for other folders besides the main inbox?

You can go to mail settings and select the folders you want to sync on your phone. Just open mail, select a folder and it will show you an option "Sync on this phone" if its not already synced. Also you can pin those folders on your home screen.

Yes I know that, thanks though.

Can we get a notification of emails coming to subfolders with the new email app? Has Microsoft got over this brainfart or are they still living in it?

As a Windows Phone user, its not optimum for a me to organize emails with rules on the server side, as these emails cant get any notifications. Yes, by pinning the folder you can get a folder to show the unread email count, but thats not the same. Also it is kind of ridicilous to pin 10 medium size tiles to your start screen. Again same if you put them in a folder you need to be checking that all the time.

Another question: Can we choose an alias when sending emails with W10?

. . . .
Can we get a notification of emails coming to subfolders with the new email app?. . . .?

With 8.1, I got around this problem by pinning the subfolders to my homescreen. It took up some space, but I could see he exact number of new emails in my subfolders at a glance. But with WP10, all of my mail folders are gone and only the main Outlook Mail folder is there!
