Ok, so I have a wallpaper built. Thing is, it's not correct size for a WP wallpaper (I know because I emailed it to myself and opened it on my phone). How do I change it's size (resolution?) to where it's the correct size to fit my phone?

The correct size is 480 x 800 J4rrod.

'Paint' that comes with Windows will allow you to resize it's resolution. :)

It's very basic but free, and will do the job of your resize.

Load in your picture / Resize / Pixels / OK

Thanks guys.

I actually created the whole thing in Paint, but when I went to resize I missed where you could uncheck "Maintain aspect ratio."

Thing is, when I change the ratio from 1124x1040 the entire thing looks terrible. It messed up the entire project.

Anyway to change resolution while maintaining aspect ratio? I worked 4 hours on this thing on the count of Paint's Fill option not working with the images they gave us :'(

See what I mean?

Please someone help :(

Seriously you deserve some recognition on this site. You're by far the most helpful guy here. Thank you so much!

LOL keep calm J4rrod, i just like to try and help. You're more than welcome my friend. :D

There's loads of helpful folks around these forums, not just lil old me. ;)

Thanks for your kind comments, very much appreciated.

Haha, I'll try TheWeeBear.

One more question: when I attach an image, such as I did when I posted the wallpaper over on the contest thread, the picture doesn't show up/preview on the thread itself like yours does. I tried attaching the file with the file type as JPG and PNG and neither worked, what am I doing wrong?

Just insert the url of the photo inside image tags J4rrod.

[.img]http://forums.windowscentral.com/attachments/general-discussion/19782d1324159832-wpcentral-metro-logo-final.jpg[/img.]

Remove the dots inside the image tags, they were added by me to stop the image appearring, so you could see what to do.

Hope that makes sense. :D
