Question: Increase / Boost Speaker volume ?!

Hey my dear lumia lovers

I live in germany and bought me a nokia lumia 925... so far i?m happy with this phone but for me the sound output (headphones) is too low/quite.
The european models got a software restriction for sound output limit.. so my question ist, is there any way to make the sound output louder or deactivate the EU Limits?

I didn't know eu models have such restrictions , btw when you plug your headphones , go to phone settings and then scroll down to audio , there you can set different sound modes like loud , rock , Classic and many more , also when you swipe right in audio settings. You also get Dolby digital totaled , turn it on for better effect

I am not sure about EU models , here in Asia (India) , handy do not have such restrictions , so I can easily pop up my fav music at max 30 but I didn't , it's dangerous for our little ear drums , so max volume by 20 is fine for me else I usually hear songs at 13-15. By the way does the same applies on caller ringtone , do they hear the same ? Or only media volume is restricted ?

Hast du einen Kopfh?rer mit niedriger Ohmzahl? Die gro?en Dinger mit ihren 300 Ohm sind nat?rlich leise. Die kleineren mit 32 Ohm laut genug! Und die Empfindlichkeit deiner Kopfh?rer sollte nat?rlich dann auch hoch sein...
Ich habe den Koss Porta Pro so zum rumlaufen, der hat glaube ich so 100 Ohm. Das geht gerade noch so, ich mags n?mlich auch laut. Also 50 Ohm oder weniger sollten f?r dich perfekt sein.
Und mach die Optionen im Handy unter Audio aus. Sowohl Dolby als auch die Lautst?rkenanpassung (=Limiter) klingen scheisse!!! Glaube mir, bin Tontechniker

Do you mean that your max volume is 13/13 ?
I have L920 and at first the max volume was 13... But I just kept pressing the 'volume up' button at that point and then the phone started whining about hearing loss and the max volume was lifted to 30..
If this is not the case with you, then I dont know how to help..

All Lumias have 30/30 maximum. The 13/30 is just a warning. Sometimes you have the same with MP3 players....its just ONCE, so not a big deal!

danke f?r deine antwort! ich habe sowohl koss porta pro, Sennheiser (Adidas Edition mit diesen "Ohrmuschel-Fl?geln") sowie AKG K618 DJ kopfh?rer.. Mit allen bekomme ich einen zu geringen output :/ Gibt es irgendwelche tweaks o.?. um ein lumia ger?t lauter zu machen?

Da der AKG schon 32Ohm hat, kann man so nicht mehr rausholen. Hm, ne tweaks oder apps kenne ich jetzt nicht.
Das einzige ist dann wohl doch diese Audio-Nivellierung in den Einstellungen unter Audio. Macht das ganze ja schon lauter, aber klingt halt durch die Compression/Limitierung je nach Track zermatscht bzw. pumpt und nervt. Aber vlt st?rt es dich ja nicht.

ACHSO: Lol...kannst nat?rlich mit dem EQ noch spielen, und einfach alle Frequenzen gleichm??ig mal um ein paar dB anheben. Wird dann wohl auch klirren und kratzen, aber wer wei?...

sadly no :\ I am still waiting for Lumia 920 jailbreak ; try this application

Get yourself a headphone amp. This will not only boost the signal level, but dpending on the qualities of the amp, it can give you a better sounding output.

I'm using an ALO Audio MK I and a custom-built CMOY design. In the US, you can buy one pretty cheap on eBay and get good results. Not sure about in Germany.

question is what headphones/earphones are you using. some of them got high requirement for driving them...others got lower... before i was using a CM storm gaming in-ear headset...it wasn't that good and i was getting less sound. i recently purchased a pair of sony in-ear headset and its a day and night comparison... i havent personally tried the stock headset that comes with my 925...but then i wont count on the quality too much.

Its not once. I get it all the time and it pisses me off. Everything that I have 20 is bare minimum to hear it decently in the first place. 25 is more enjoyable.

Simple. Go to the user guide. It tells you how to improve it. I solved this in 2 minutes.

I live in the Netherlands and I don't experience such a problem. When I put the volume above 25 when listening to music, my ears will start to bleed. So I think your problem isn't about your phone, but about your headset or the music file you're listening.
