I am running Win 7. When I look at OneDrive in File Explorer I do not see the Music Folder. When I look at OneDrive Online I see the music folder. If I copy a folder from file explorer on my PC to the Music folder on OneDrive web I get the error "sorry, can't copy folders or empty files"

So how do I get all my music carefully arranged in folders by artist -> album -> Track into the OneDrive music folder without going into each folder on my PC and copying the individual tracks. I must be missing something.

So you have the onedrive app installed, but the music file in the app (desktop) is empty?

Had to add MUSIC folder (settings) to onedrive app and then upload from app folders...works

On Windows or Windows Phone?

I'm at this stage...

EDIT - I now see the songs on Music on my phone but still don't see them on my Surface. Better than nothing I suppose and it's the way around I would have wanted it.

Try going into the settings on Xbox music on your surface and changing where it looks for music to the music folder of your OneDrive.
