Hey folks.I've not been using windows phone for 6 months now.Im back on it now on my 640 but having real issues on the latest fast build

What's the most stable build I can get..The recovery tool doesn't give me an option to get w10 mobile.

If I go off insider. Will my phone update to a production build.

Has this thing even been released to public yet.Is there its updates ?

Any hints would be helpfull.Dont want to back to 8.1 at this stage,

w10 insider builds were a lot more stable when I last used them in January

Threshold .420 is the most stable.

Select Insider tracks Production or Release Preview, not fast or slow after using DRT to go back to 8.1.

Saying that, the latest Redstone fast seems pretty solid and fast on my 830, not at all like older builds.

So your saying go back to 8.1.

Then what.Do I need to use windows insider app.Does that still work ?

I Only have option for fast and slow currently on the insider fast build

WDRT only has 8.1 available for the 640 unfortunately. You WILL have to go back before you can continue. You cannot go backwards without using the WDRT. (which is why you only have Fast and Slow options at this time.)

AFTER you're back on Windows Phone 8.1, you can use Windows Insider - Release Preview to get 10.
OR, you can use the Upgrade Advisor to get 10. (do note it'll take two or more updates before you're fully up-to-date.)

Thanks for the replies.Think I'll hold out on the fast ring for now rather than going through all that.Thank god I got a oneplus 3 coming to me Monday.I'm just thankful I didn't fork out on a 950earlier in the year
