My original post:
Reading view on IE is absolutely fantastic. There aren't any plugins in firefox that I know of that match its behavior. Firefox recently added a native reading view feature but it basically converts a website to text so it makes for a clunky reading experience with you having to skip past all the navigation links.
On Windows 8.1 modern IE the reading view will be full screen, on Microsoft Edge, it is portrait mode only and even if you rotate your tablet there are still black bars on both edges. If you are on a desktop pc fat chance rotating your screen too.
As you can see in these screen grabs. Internet explorer is so much better than Microsoft Edge with regard to reading view. I can only hope this is still a work in progress because if it is not, then reading view has been severely downgraded.
I've provided feedback to the insider app, so I would urge anyone who feels the same way to do the same.
