Reasons live tiles stop updating

So for some strange reason my live tiles have stopped updating.

Any idea on how to fix this, it's very very annoying!

It could be that you have too many updating. Try turning a couple off, and see if that gets the others going.

Tile updates always by backgroudtaskhost.exe. And has very strict memory usage limitation. 512M memory deivce has only 30M per app, 1G+ device has 40M. It's very easy to crash...

Also if you have done a soft reset the tiles sometimes stop updating until you restart the phone normally by turning it off and then back on again.

There was a bug where after every battery charge, live tiles didn't work anymore, the solution is to restart the phone. I've had this issue, it went away magically after some weeks.
