Rebellion GAMES - Guns 4 hire , Zombie HQ & Dredd vs. Zombies

For all the time (about a year now), I am using windows phone, one game developer has attracted me the most. No prize for guesses, It is REBELLION.

They have published 3 games so far on Windows phone store :

Dredd Vs Zombies : Last updated on 23rd Jan 2013, ver 1.6.0.0 & size 25 MB

All games are fun, impressive, with great graphics and totally free. I am sure many of you must have tried them already and will agree with me.
Having said that, I personally like GUNS 4 HIRE a lot and want these games to succeed.

Now the sad part is, most of these games are not in the recent popular lists and updates are long-long pending from the developers end. I am giving a try so that our windows phone community at-least discusses these games & the developer gives on eye to windows phone store also.
Maybe, if WPCENTRAL moderators also takes it up strongly with the developers and Microsoft.
There can be many reasons, why it is not happening? But many like me seriously want these games to succeed.
If you agree with me, please shout out in the comments and let the windows phone community know about these games and the developer.

After writing this post, I'll drop a mail to developer also.

Perhaps because no update has come in a year, no new stuff added . people move on. Yeah it's sad but will it matter? Even if it rises in top list , will the developer care ?

Dredd Vs Zombies is actually pretty popular. Its on the top best rated list.
My favorite however is Zombie HQ.
And for G4H, i hear people are backing away due to heavy use of IAP's. Am not so sure about that though.

Sure, totally agree.

Trying to urge the developer and windows phone community to talk about these games with windows phone in mind.

If updates follow, nothing better.

Received a reply from REBELLION, "Thanks for your post! The short answer is we have finite resources, and lots of PC and console games to develop/support too. That being said, we've definitely got plans for more mobile games and Windows Phone action in 2014, so keep an eye out (sic)"

Don't know, if they are indirectly trying to justify there inability to update the existing games. Maybe WP Store is just one of the priorities for them (way below IOS).

I actually understand the developers. It must be frustrating for them to ignore WP - when it is one of the platforms they found success in - but there are bigger fish in the sea.

That said, I believe in their promise for 2014 - it may simply be a matter if creating new games first for the platform. They are a small team, after all.

Just realized this is the same Rebellion that made AvP on the PC back in 99 and the recent AvP game this past gen. Didn't realize they also did mobile development now. Hopefully we see what else they are working on soon. It's at least good to know they have more games planned for 2014.
