Received a random gift card yesterday..no idea why.

So yesterday I received an email from 'Microsoft Devices News' with a gift card code:

Your Gift Card Code is here

Thank you ? your claim has been accepted! Here?s how to use the Gift Card Code to make apps and games purchases in the Windows Phone Store:

1. Launch 'Wallet', select 'Get Started'

2. Select the '+' button at the bottom of the screen in Wallet

3. Select 'Microsoft Gift Card'

4. Enter the PIN code above and tap 'Next'

This will add the voucher value to your Microsoft account in Wallet.

You can now complete your purchases of apps and games from the Windows Phone Store by selecting 'Microsoft Account' as the payment method.

Code expires 15th July 2014, so make sure you enter the PIN into the Wallet before then.

I have no idea why, I have a Lumia 925 (bought second hand off ebay) - anyone got any ideas or received one of these as well? Needless to say, i did not argue and quickly applied the ?20 code to my account.

I got one of these as well. I think it may have something to do with a Facebook competition on the Nokia UK page I entered.

Ah, now that you mention it, yes I did enter that one. Maybe everyone who entered got a gift card?
