recommendations for sports photography

I know smartphone cameras are not optimal for sports or moving objects, but what's your recommendation on such photography? Settings? Apps?

The L1020 is suppose to excel at this type of photography.

well if ur outdoors and plenty of light try using a shutter speed around 1500-2000
take some test shots
ISO 100
but play around with the shutter speed in that realm, u should be able to find the sweet spot

Indoor gymnastics is probably not a good candidate for any kind of phone photography.

Outdoor sports I'd probably give Smartcam a whirl..
