Recovering contacts after hard reset?

i just intentionally did an hard reset on my microsoft lumia 532 and all my files are gone. most importantly my contact, i am eager to retrieve them. is it possible?

If you had them synced with your Microsoft account they should have come back when you signed in.

I haven't touched a windows phone in nearly 2 years so I'll let someone else provide more detailed help.

If OP had the contacts on non-Microsoft accounts (eg Gmail) he should add back those accounts too.
