Hi
I just wanted to ask out someone has managed to reinstall some if the default Windows 10 Mobile apps such as Outlook email and calendar? Now and then there are some people who have some issues with some apps, and then the only solution is to do a hard reset. Is it possible to reinstall those apps to avoid those hard resets?

outlook email and calendar are built in apps, they cant be removed or uninstalled. Their was an update for it yesterday , and has seemed to fix the live tile issue on some devices including mine 730. But there are a few users getting the glitch again on lumia 650.

The latest Outlook update i got was on September 16, at least that's what I see in the Store.

Those are certainly good news, I hope we can conclude from what you say that they are finally doing something to fix this issue.

using remote cmd, powershell, check interoptools

Thanks for those suggestions, I believe it won't be difficult to find how to accomplish what I want with information you gave me.
By the way, with same those tools I should be able to get Microsoft FM Radio working, right?

FM radio is not disabled, only the app has been removed. You can still download third party radio apps and they'll work.

I know, but I believe that the Microsofts one it's still better than any if those.

if you can find the xap yea dont see why it wouldnt work

Yes, you can enable uninstall option for every default system app but you need an Interop Unlocked phone as said by Esphack. Or else, you have wait for an update to see if a newer version fixes or not. Same goes for XBOX, weather, camera, etc.,

Thanks. What do you think, could something like that help with the Calendar live tile related issue?

I'm sorry cause I'm just asking questions, one could say "you could have tried that already", buy I don't believe in going to have time but that this weekend, and I'm curious to know.

EDIT: Now I have noticed this, I think it didn't look like that some time before - like free months before...

I haven't seen the Sideload apps option before. If I had the Microsofts FM Radio installation file, should I be able to easily install it with this option now? If you don't know for sure, then you can just tell me your opinion. This is the last question like this from my side, I won't be asking questions like this in future without trying this myself first. :)

And thanks for helping! :)

Problem is that FM radio is not an app but is a service that is run through FMradio.exe. So we couldn't figure out how to make use of the files that we have already acquired from Stock ROMs.

In short, you have to make it with offline radio apps.

Technically yes, but apps are locked to the original downloader phone when downloaded from store, and I don't know the specifics of fm app maybe it's not just an appx package

How lucky of you I just saw this getting implemented :P
