THANK YOU! That is the first I have seen of that. I have the official Xbox remote for my 360 (the older white one that lights up) and use it ALL THE TIME. It really saves battery versus the controller when I am not playing games. I am hoping it works naturally with no problems though, because I am not sure how or even if it is possible at all to program in codes for it. If anyone here knows, please tell meFor those that are curious and don't want to use voice commands and/or smartglass, the XBox One will be controllable by a universal remote...

As much as I love the Kinect, it seems it would be much more convenient/easy to use the remote for most operations anyway - there are exceptions, though. I get up and go into the kitchen to check on things or make things a lot while watching Netflix on my Xbox, so I bring the Xbox remote everywhere with me and it's nowhere to be found when I sit back on the couch. Simple pause and resume via voice commands is acceptable in those cases
