I've been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out why I can RDC to my laptop from my 950 XL but can't connect to my PC. Laptop and phone are WiFi and my PC is connected via Ethernet. All should are going through my Verizon Fios Quantum router. Made sure the pc has Remote desktop enabled, port 3389 is open for RDC. Port forwarded 3389 in my router. Howvee I still can't get it to take my credentials. Any ideas???

So I think I figured out my issue. A while back I changed my Microsoft Account password. Now that shouldn't have mattered, except when I first set up my new PC build I logged in using my old password (current then) and later changed it. So RDC works when I enter my credentials each time and use my old password. It gets me to the logon screen which says that the login was incorrect. I can then select my microsoft account and login using my updated password. Then everything works like a champ until I logout of my PC through RDC. When I return back to my PC and login at the machine, I get an instant BSOD. No idea why. Apparently I have some stuff to sort out.
