Remove Contact Picture

Is the a way to remove a contact's picture?
I can add one or change one, but I haven't figured out how to remove one.

if you go to contacts and the select the contact for editing, there's no remove picture option?

Given the contact is saved on your Microsoft account (not getting the photo from Facebook or any other network), you can delete the picture.
Edit the contact, tap and hold (long press) the existing photo, and click on Delete.

Just tried on PC and phone, open contact, choose EDIT and then right click on picture (Long hold on phone) and choose delete.

Long(tap)-hold ~= right-click, for most stuff, very handy to keep in mind...
