Removed folder from OneDrive - now access denied

To temporarily save space on my C: drive, I moved a folder from my OneDrive folder to another disk. Later I checked and found an empty folder of the same name in the OneDrive folder, except I can't delete or open it - I get an "Access is Denied" message. I can't take ownership either. This means I can't move the original folder back to the OneDrive folder. Any help appreciated,

login into onedrive.com with the account tied to your PC and delete the empty folder. You maybe able to use the phone client presuming you have logged into that account on your phone as well.
