Removing of Mozo wood case

I'm changing phones from the Lumia 950 XL but I need to take off the mozo case and put the original one on before selling, does anyone have a technique to doing it or am I just doing it wrong?

Use your finger nail between the top metal rim and the phone, run it along the edge and it will start to separate. Be careful not to try and pry it away to much...might crack it.

Top metal rim? do you mean the slit at the bottom or somewhere else?

There is a small indentation on the bottom left are (looking at the screen) where the back meets the frame. The Microsoft Store people taught me how to use that to start popping off the back. Once I got the hang of it it's easier than any other technique I used.
