Replacement screen and battery, what is a reliable source for one?

Replacement screen and battery

Can anyone recommend a reliable source for a replacement screen and battery for my 1020? My screen has developed a faint border all around when viewed in direct sunlight that's not nice to look at and seems to have reduced the overall brightness. Not sure what the options are for an unlocked Rogers version. Thanks.

its a crap shoot actually. grab both off ebay and go for it. its very simple to do on the 1020. I had to remove mine 2 times because I cracked it, then the replacement started delaminating and I crazy glued it back together and its been fine ever since.

Thanks, I've moved to an 830 but might still go through with this to give my 1020 a "new" look.

yeah, the 1020 is special. I have been looking at an 830 and the new 950 xl as well. Never have to many phones!

I bought a replacement battery from batterybuyer.com just last month for my Lumia 1020 32gb. So far seems no better or worse than the original battery when it was new

I will add I have two Lumia 1020's and love them both. But I am heavy user. News, games, text, surfing etc and battery drain is a constant issue for me with these phones. One of the few gripes I have with it.

I also bought the mugen 3000ma battery pack and this work wonderfully. Consider getting one. It's looks just like the Nokia phone grip/battery pack. Only no side button to drain the battery. However also no threaded slot for a tripod. I have to the Nokia grip to and failed to hold a charge after the first couple months i used it.
