Report: Sony blocked Destiny 2 character transfers between platforms

Destiny 2 could've been more open.
Cross-play and cross-progression are slowly becoming industry standards, but many games don't allow character transfers. However, it seems like at least one developer — Bungie — wanted to incorporate them in Destiny 2, but Sony wouldn't allow it.
