Reset Microsoft Lumia 950 XL to Factory Defaults.

So I reset my Lumia 950 XL to Factory defaults, but was big surprise too many app updates. Is there chance to flash newer firmware which doesn't need update about 40 apps?

I don't think that is possible, all you can do is just wait for them to download.

Just leave your wi fi on overnight & leave the phone to get on with it.

You've just reverted back to FD so the FD sys apps will require updating BECAUSE from the moment of release to PUBLIC those same apps have been updated for better performance. So with that said there's NO firmware that has all of latest versions of sys apps as each app is updated individually and at varying times. Get over it as EVERYBODY who've ever reset their phone have had to wait on it to finish re-installing apps and downloading most recent app updates that may have come out during your reset.
