markfive Member Oct 27, 2012 384 0 16 Apr 17, 2013 #2 No, I've got an MS 3500 mouse and the dongle for that doesn't cause any problems. A Surface Pro shouldn't need anything other than a standard Windows 8 driver - have you checked for the right driver?
