Resuming issue in Windows Phone

What is up with this constant resuming issue in windows phone 8.1 ???
Every app that I want to switch back to is giving me this resuming black screen and often times all my progress is lost in the previous app that I'm trying to switch back to ! I'm getting frustrated with this. There is hardly any smooth transition back to a former app if i leave the app for more than a minute. Smh..wow.
What's up with this Microsoft? Anyone else experiencing this and know how to reduce this ?

What model are you using? Do you have Cortana pinned to Start? No Preview for Developers, right?

I get this with the tetra lockscreen beta. Even worse than Live Lockscreen beta. I just wish they could get this working properly. Also been getting random reboots on my 1520.

I uninstalled Live Lockscreen beta and never even tried Tetra Lockscreen beta for that reason.

this may sound funny but it work for me on my 8x, start kids corner , then shut it off

If you want good performance:
1. Don't use any of those lockscreen apps
2: Don't use Developer Preview
So make sure you're not using either of those.

I stopped using that a long time ago but still have issues. And I'm on developer preview 8.1 with folder support. Nokia Lumia 928 so it may be a cyan thing. Idk but the issue has been occurring lately A LOT.

Developer preview... That's probably your problem....

How would I know if I have the Dev Preview - I don't want it, and never willingly installed it...
