Ring,Lock, Erase & Find my Phone

I purchased a Samsung Ativ (sim free) in England & send it to east Africa.
Although it is logged in to a microsoft account in my name and has permanent internet access I am unable to ring, lock, erase or find the phone using the Windows 8 mobile website.
I would of thought the Samsung would of been able to be tracked anywhere as long as there's internet access, obviously not. :unhappy:

Are you unable to use Find My Phone when you visit the windowsphone.com site on your desktop PC? Find a lost phone | Windows Phone How-to (United States)

Your country should be supported. From this link:
Find My Phone. The ability to locate your phone on a map isn't available in the following countries/regions: Argentina, China, India, Korea, Peru, and Turkey.

Yes I am unable to use fInd my phone, Lock, erase or ring my phone from the Windowphonecom website, I'd like to emphasize I where the phone is but because it's in Africa and not Europe the ability to track the phone has gone even though the phone is logged into the original Windows login name and pass.
