Ringtone Problem

When I add a song from PC to Phone, it appears in music which is normal. But when I try to put the song as ringtone in the ringtone settings it doesn't show up.
To mention I use BSPlayer for the music on my pc, but I think it doesn't matter as long as it appears on the phone and it plays.
The main problem is it doesn't appear to be put as ringtone.
I use a Lumia 720.

I did, I put the song in ringtones, still not showing...

Did you put it in the "Ringtones" folder? I have several ringtones I made myself and they're fine. I'm not familiar with the BSPlayer, though. Can you drag and drop your ringtones? (that's what I do and it works).

ok I did lock the screen and then turned it back on and the songs appeared, problem fixed
