Ringtones

Trying to use some customized MP3 as ringtones but if I save files on the phone when I go to assign the ringtone it does not show up as an option, only the standard phone ones and ones I had on my previous windows phone that came over on the setup of my LG Lancet a month ago.

If I follow the instructions and try to text myself the mp3 file the attachment is removed from the text so I cannot do the save as etc.

Custom ringtones should be available for all phone system events, including SMS... as long as the audio files are saved in the Phone/Ringtones folder. Once the audio file is saved in that folder, go to your phone Settings > notifications+actions, and from there you should be able to set the custom tone.
