Just got my 1020 with a camera grip and looked at the bands to make sure it's pentaband. Has 1700 there.

Now all I need to do is unlock it

Off topic, but would you mind posting the product code of your device? (the 059**** code) Also, does it have Data Sense?

If it has Data Sense, I want to try flashing my ATT 1020 with the software from Rogers.

Thanks!

Thanks! Now I really need the product code and want to try to flash! The product code is not the imei and is not unique. It is a 7 character code, likely starts with 059, and should be either somewhere on the box, or on your sim tray. I would really appreciate if you could share this as its not unique and I can't do anything with it (again not your imei!)

hmmm, so the specs on the website are wrong? it says lte 2100 band only. if thats the case im def buying the rogers unlocked if thats wrong and the box is correct

specs on which site? Telus or Rogers?

The Rogers website is correct, I just got my phone unlocked and will be testing it tonight with my friend's mobilicity sim to make sure 100%

It seems though that all Rogers Lumia are pentaband, 710, 900, 920 and now 1020.

I have the 900 from Rogers as well, and the 1700 band is there for 3G

sorry for not being specific. i was talking about the LTE band. i was hoping to use the phone for tmobile USA and hopefully get 3g for the non reframed areas (1700 AWS band) as well as the lte band. on the rogers site it only lists 2100 band for LTE so im going to assume it would work with 3g only and no LTE?

Rogers uses band 4 which is AWS 1700/2100 (but they call it LTE AWS 2100) so it'll work fine on T-Mobile. Rogers also offers LTE on band 7 (2600) in some areas. They should list the band numbers to avoid confusion.
