Are you getting just the 2 OS updates or are you getting the firmware as well? I forced the OS ones a while back but don't see the firmware update.

I got this like 2weeks ago using the backdoor method. You won't see any thing improved on this except the tethering works all the time. This won't fix the purple issue either. Wait for firmware fix.... Elop said its under Rogers test labs and coming end of July.

Your brightness must be at medium or high since the 12084 firmware has the purple hue issue unless you increase the brightness.
