rooms on surface pro 2

hi all i have a lumia 920 and my wife has an iphone but has just bought a surface pro 2 can we use the rooms/group function that i can on windows phone ??? if so how ??

If she has an Microsoft account you can invite her to use it. We use it for one drive but not for messaging. For that we use IMessage (I now have an iPhone)
