Rt to 8.1/10?

The RT family will not be upgraded to the full fledge Windows 10, they will get some features though.

Well there will be a Windows 10 for ARM for devices 8" and below since phones use ARM. That is why it's perplexing that Surface machines won't get this version. Sure, it makes sense to not get the desktop version of Windows 10 but give the windows 10 that's coming to small devices. Just because surface is 10.6" would be a lame excuse.

Wish MS would offer some kind of trade in offer for RT users, especially with the new Surface 3 announced. Something like $100 off a Surface 3 would be nice considering RT users were the first adopters of their tablets and now are stuck without any meaningful updates.

They did. Trade in was announced a while back but a limited window was open. Traded one of our RT's in and will use the $84 off the next Surface we buy.

I gotta believe you can easily sell them for more than any trade in value MS would give you.

Toss it on Ebay with a starting bid at what MS would give you and sit back and enjoy.

Nice device...just wasn't for me
