Rumor: Microsoft working on non-Windows OS

MSFT has developed many OS's over the years. They have a huge R&D wing where that's all they do. I'm not sure if it was Midori but I read an article about a pet project OS that has been in development for many years.

It's their business to know everything their is to know about Operating Systems, not just Windows OS's.

The bigger news in this is that we might see C#... or it's successor, as a low-level, powerful, but safe language.
