Are you using an AT&T or T-mobile SIM? I'm using an AT&T SIM. Maybe the settings are different for T-mo SIMs.

As for deploying the xap, I thought that WindowBreak will dev and interop unlock your phone, but I'm not sure about that since I don't have a Samsung phone. Maybe someone else can help with that.

I using Net10 Wireless' T-Mobile SIM (not to be confused with T-Mobile).

Well, went through all the steps successfully, but still can't get MMS.

I have Iwireless (iowa) and Im not sure how to make one of these provxml files to do this. tried to edit one but i dont understand all the code.
these are the settings i need:
Name: Picture Messaging
Data Bearer: GPRS
Access Point Name (APN): wap1.iwireless.com
User Name: (blank)
Password: (none)
IP Address: 209.004.229.031
Port: (default)

ps i have done the windows break and have loaded wp7 root tool on phone.
not sure if this is a focus it says its a samsung sgh-I917

I appreciate the process, but here's my still unresolved question:
I tried to install and run SDK 7.1 but hit a snag almost immediately. I am not a registered developer and I don't have a registered phone. Do I actually need to pay $99 to become a registered developer just to get my phone to work?!

Ok, guys. I'm having major difficulty. Tried to follow fat_clue 98's directions. Unable. My phone is an unlocked Focus from newegg. I can not access the internet to get the windowbreak. Any ideas?
