if samsung sold 80 mill phone and I'm sure most of them are androids
why are people still purchasing android with WP7's I don't get it with all
the fragmentation, viruse, hacking of data ...

I don't understand WP7 is great they just need to
1 get more phones out there
2 push more updates so end users are more comfortable they android knowing that
it will all be up to date
3 add Verizon and Sprint all readdy
4 get other carriers other than ATT to advertise for them, my friends think its only on
ATT you see nothing on T-Mobiles website about the HD7 or even the Dell Venue Pro

Come on MS Push Push Push...

sory for ranting ..

I have a Samsung Fascinate, waiting for the latest Android update (I'm still on 2.1). Sammy/VZW promised 2.2 on this phone. We're still waiting months later, while older phones get updated to 2.2. Head on over to the AndroidCentral forum and check out the Fascinate section; not a lot of happy users. Fragmentation at it's finest. And by the way, the same exact Galaxy S phones on other carriers/countries are getting the update. Samsung is the worst for updates.

Anyway, I wish WP7 would take advantage of that fact and push that more in their ads. I know what you mean about T-Mobile; you never see a WP7 add from them. I see AT&T WP7 ads all the time.

Some people hate Microsoft just to hate them, but I don't. I want this phone and OS to succeed and be a major player in this arena. I think more phones would help that.

I"m confused as well. Whenever Apple gives numbers, people cry foul because they say they are counting the iPad and iPod Touch. Whatever. The Android numbers look ridiculously high. I have a few Android devices, and I like them, but it's not the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm happy for the device makers, but the way websites and blogs report how great Android is gets a little old. I'm anxious to see the numbers after Verizon gets the iPhone. And hopefully a CDMA WP7 will cut into that Android share a bit too.
