Samsung Update Issue

Today the utility had an update for its own software, and now it is totally broken. Prior to this, the utility would show what version of any driver is installed, and if there is an update available.

Now, when you run the utility, you have to enter your serial number every time. Once you do that, you get the entire list of drivers available, with absolutely no way to tell what current version you have, or if any updates are available. What the hell were they thinking?

Yes, same issue here, and most importantly, no latest BIOS (Firmware) update available in the list of drivers and files to save.

What do we do? Wait and hope samsung fixes it? I spoke to a rep yesterday but they were completely unhelpful. I love my tabpro, but it seems like samsung is treating the tabpro like a ******* child.

Drivers get updated via Windows 10 Update, so I'm not that worried about drivers, what worries me most is that the BIOS/Firmware cannot be updated until Samsung fixes this issue because there's no other way to check if the Firmware is the latest (I tried searching in the web but Samsung's Support page is miserable, just a few PDF's to download and a USB driver, that's it). I will sell my Samsung Tab Pro S and buy the Surface Pro. You deserve it Samsung!

I just picked up a Tab Pro S yesterday, I am fortunate to not have had to deal with that issue, so far so good. Looks like all the updates worked properly.
