Just a heads up to anyone looking to purchase a Sandisk 128 GB Micro SD card for the 950. This card will not work with the 950. It causes the phone to stop the startup process on the Microsoft logo. It's a great card otherwise, and works fine on my computers and other devices. Just not in my Lumia 950 (dual sim).

drag, I just bought one for a 640 and works fine with 10586, was hoping to transfer to a 950 someday..

Try reformatting it to NTFS and see if it works then. exFAT seems to be unstable on my 950.

Try formatting it as fat32 or reformatting it as exfat again on a pc. Unless it's changed recently, ntfs isn't the best idea for flash type media.

Also, I use a 64gb Samsung micro sd card formatted as exfat with no issue. I do have a habit of formatting cards on my pc before installing them.

I'm using this very same card in my 950 without issue. It went from the packaging directly into the phone. Phone booted up without issue and has been working fine since. The phone recognizes the card and moving files to and from it works just fine.

I had one of these cards in my 830 and it worked without issues. When I transferred it over to my 950 XL it started to give errors and I was unable to format it on a PC. I think the issue is in how it gets removed from one device and moved over. I read a thread elsewhere that if you just removed it without telling the OS to remove it that it corrupts the card. Sandisk is sending me a replacement that will go straight from packaging into the 950 XL so I'll report back on how that went.
