Scrambled Email Passwords

Sometimes, but not always, when I leave my home wi-fi network and return to it, I find the passwords to Windows Live ID, my regular internet email, and Facebook (all on my Samsung Focus) are scrambled; it would appear that the initial passwords are appended to what's already there. For example, if my password was "abcd", sometimes it gets set as "abcdabcd". Anyone else have this happen? Solution? Thanks.

Slight correction to above

Now I have found that my passwords sometimes get scrambled even if I do NOT leave my wi-fi network. Sure I can reset them easily, but I should not have to...
