:unhappysweat: Just found out that I got a big scratch on the back side of the tablet. I think it happened when I was carrying it in a bag along with 2 pants and a jeans. I suspect either the zipper or the metallic clip caused this. I am really sad now. Is there anyway I can get this fixed? Can I get a replacement cover?

You can get sticker cover for it, its makes for great protection without making ugly, I will fine the link for them and show you how I have placed it on mine, I have half covered for style, you can get all sort of styles like wood ect, need to charge my 1020 so you gonna have to wait a bit

After 2 days I find long scratches on my new SP4 i7 already. What a disappointment. My SP3 i5 paint was much more durable as it seems!

Anyone try car wax or similar to buff out? I was thinking Klass AIO might take some of these lighter scratches out. Great stuff on cars not sure on The Magnesium case of Surfaces yet. Just takes a small drop and a damp applicator. Amazing stuff. German All In One is acrylic-based.Klasse All-In-One contains no abrasives or silicones, and does not stain plastic, vinyl or rubber trim. It can be used on any non-porous surface, and in addition to car care it is also approved for marine and aviation use.

May be worth a try. Use the leftover on your car you will thank me. That I can vouch for. Twice a year is all you'll need.

Ive been down this road with phones, guitars, watches & a ton of other items that tend to get scratched. Learn to live with it. Nothing is perfect. If its not impeding the functionality of the object, the accept it and get on with making the most of the surface. You could spend a pile of money fixing a scratch that doesnt affect the usability of the surface at all, and in 24 months it will all be forgotten anyway as a new surface will be out and you'l want to upgrade.

Dont waste your money.
