Screen issue sorted - but now updates are a concern

Hey folks, i'm hoping i will get a reply or two to this post....

I have recently had my phone screen fixed and it is working a treat, very fast etc....however i am wary about updating the firmware as i've heard of issues where screen has stopped working etc....

Is there any safety net, by which the original o/s can be reinstalled, obvious answer to me is no if the screen stops working but i guess i'm clutching at straws.....any advice or help please...

If you update the only way to go back would be to flash an older ROM onto your device.

I'm putting a link here to a post that has links to Navifirm and Nokia Care Suite. This is what you need to install another ROM. The guide on this link is for a L920 AT&T but you can use some of the information for your situation.

Thanks for the advice, thankfully didn't need it as the new screen works fine

Yeah i have the some problem, after i changed the digitizer i had to downgread the phone and now i cant get wp8.1 neather cyan, damn nokia you are the one how created this digitizer why you are doing this to your customers !!!???
