My Dell venue 8 pro's screen orientation used to automatically orientated itself depending on how I held it. Now though the screen won't adjust, how can I fix this?
Thanks

Bring up the charms menu from right, at the bottom right you can find screen brightness, open that and you can toggle screen orientation lock from there

I tried that however it won't work?, I tried to play istunt 2 which uses the accelerometer as well and it doesn't work either, is there any reason why this is happening?

Not sure why its not working, have you tried a restart? Also check for the latest chipset drivers and bios update from dell's support site.

Thanks very much, the restart worked! Everything is working fine now!!!

This happened to me too and I've tried everything including several restarts. Not sure why this happened suddenly.. I can't see to fix it.

I had the same problem right after I got my Pro8. I had to disable the sensors device in the Device Manager and re-enable. That got everything working again.

))) idk that's how i solved my problem:))
but if you restart your SP3 and and switch between that button it will change the option in the right slide menu to brightness or screen lock orientation...
