Screen Rotation not working?

Anyone else having problems getting the screen to rotate from Portrait to Landscape in e-mail or IE?

I noticed the same thing at the AT&T store today. I had the Surround and the Focus in each hand on the exact same web page, and the Surround was about twice as fast to change orientation. I tested this on multiple websites, multiple times. How is this possible - I thought all WP7 phones had the same processor/chipset?

EDIT: I just thought of something. Maybe the Focus isn't lagging due to processing speed, but rather because the accelerometer/gyroscope/whatever sensor is wacky?

the processor has to be 1ghz, but the accelerometers used each manufacturer may be different

I've got both at the house right now and can't see a significant difference in the two. The Surround is a blink faster but not enough to be a concern.

Yeah, it's not lightning quick but it's not too long so that it's annoying.
