Screen stays black after waking up

Computer wakes up but the screen stays black

open task manager (ctrl+alt+del)

Check under "background proc..." if "windows explorer" is running, if not open "file" (top) > run new task > type in: explorer.exe > tick the box for admin priv.. > ok

Give it a couple of seconds
