As the topic says:
- When I am done making a call and want to hang up the screen should switch on so I can hang up. Instead it stays dark and I have to switch it on manually with the middle button. By the time I am past the lockscreen the call partner usually has hung up.
- When my alarm clock goes off, the screen just stays dark so I can't switch the alarm off. As described above I have to manually unlock the phone to switch off the alarm.
On my old 920 in both situations the screen came on automatically.
I have to admit that my 830 had its board replaced, so maybe there is something blocking the view of the proximity sensor. But that wouldn't explain the dark screen when the alarm goes off.
