Screen zooms while having Dot View Case

I recently began to have this issue with my M8. I have had the Dot View case on it for 2-3 weeks. Recently, I have noticed that when I open the case the screen is super zoomed in and I can't do much on it.. If I activate an app, it will load up zoomed with little to no wiggle room to use on it. I have to shut down the phone and restart it to fix the issue. Has anyone else had this issue and is this just isolated to the Dot View case.
