Search bar gets phantom presses on its own

The phantom presses didn't get resolved with a reset of the system. I'm thinking it could be a faulty keyboard issue maybe?The search bar gets phantom pressed on its own in my Lenovo y700 windows 10 laptop, and if I press f2 and then f3, the issue gets resolved for some amount of time. After a while, the phantom presses and the flickering of the search bar on and off continues. What can I do about this problem?
