I have a SecretLab chair, bought early during the pandemic, I think (maybe shortly before). I love it overall, but it has one issue that I dislike: the padding for the seat is TOO THIN AND HARD for me. After several minutes, my butt would feel like I were sitting on a wooden bench if I hadn't set an additional thin pillow on the seat to give it more cushion. I don't think this is one of the things that they changed in the new model, but if they did, I might consider upgrading. Everything else about the chair is fantastic.
To be clear on this criticism, it's really specific to me. I don't think most people would care. I seem to like softer seats (no medical condition or anything like that
, just my personal preference). When I don't like a couch or a mattress, it's usually because it's too firm too. I know many people prefer that firm feel, so SecretLab seat would be perfect for them.
