Seeing SP3 Around?

Just flew from Fort Meyers FL to Dallas to Seattle and saw one at the gate in Fort Meyers and saw someone using one on the plane from Dallas to Seattle. I was watching movies on mine and was surprised how little of a hit the battery took when put in airplane mode. My sister was looking at getting one but was a little shocked by the price of the i7 (don't blame her), they ended up getting the HP Envy. I had a chance to check it out and it's a pretty solid device but a lot heavier than the SP3. I did like the keyboard better though, slightly thicker and felt more solid but this is just a personal preference. Not sure on battery life as they charge it all the time to ensure it will last for sales presentations each day.
