Select copy in text messages?

Hello! I just bought a Lumia 830 and I'm super happy about it. Just one little thing I don't know if it's possible on Windows phone or I haven't found out. Isn't it possible to select just a portion in a text message and copy it, to paste it somewhere else?

You can't copy a portion but you can copy it, paste it somewhere else and edit it there.
