Hi all,
I'm new to Xbox One and while at my local Best Buy jumped into buying an Xbox Live Gold 1 year membership for $60.
Really dumb of me to purchase before researching. :-(
Now that I have researched it, I am convinced it is simply not appropriate for me. (So please, don't try to convince me).
The membership card is unused/unscratched/unactivated.
Apparently there is no possible way to return this for a refund ... neither at Best Buy nor at the local Microsoft Store, nor even
by calling the MS Mothership on the phone.
I'm completely taken aback that there is no refund possible. What company in this modern era has a product or service that
is NOT backed by a refund policy of some sort. No doubt you can rationalize and convince yourself that there are good
reasons why there's no refund possible. I am telling you, that there SHOULD be possibility of refund or return, especially if
the item was never inactivated. ARGH. So frustrating to be in the position of having spent the money and now expending
lots of time and energy to get some money back.
Okay ... so any tips of moving forward and selling this?
Is craigslist my best option for selling this and recouping some of my money?
Thanks if you have any useful advice!
